1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DigiExpense ("App"), developed by NextGen Star Technologies, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use it.

2. Description of Service

DigiExpense is a personal finance and business management application for Indian users to track expenses, manage budgets, create invoices and monitor financial transactions. Features include:

• Manual income and expense tracking with multi-account support
• Automatic bank transaction detection from notifications (Android, with permission)
• Budget creation, monitoring and alerts
• Financial reports, analytics and AI-powered insights
• GST invoicing, inventory and business ledgers
• Encrypted document vault
• Bill reminders, PDF tools, QR generator and document scanner
• Premium subscription with enhanced features via Google Play Billing

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and vault PIN
• Use the App only for lawful personal/business finance purposes
• Not reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App
• Not misuse notification access for anything other than expense tracking
• Comply with all applicable laws and keep the App updated

4. Subscription & Billing

4.1 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in INR (₹) and include applicable taxes.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.3 Cancellation

You can cancel anytime via Google Play Store → Subscriptions. You retain premium access until the end of the current billing period.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled per Google Play's refund policies.

5. Advertisements

Free-tier users may see advertisements served via Google AdMob. Upgrading to Premium removes ads. Ad providers may collect limited device and usage signals to serve ads; they never receive your financial data.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account anytime via Profile → Delete Account; all personal and financial data is permanently removed within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse app features, with reasonable notice except in cases of serious violations.

7. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of automatically detected transactions — always verify important entries.
• We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on App data or AI insights.
• The App is not a substitute for professional financial, tax or legal advice.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextGen Star Technologies and its directors, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profit or revenue, arising from your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification at least 7 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the developer's registered office location.
